2012 Annual Conference
This conference has been a long standing tradition of JSA since its very founding in 1995. It offers the opportunity for JSA members to meet yearly, maintain their Japan-related ties and share their achievements by presenting papers and attending sessions. Time is taken to discuss member accomplishments and and current developments in Japan studies.
The conference occurs annually at various locations throughout the United States, inviting nationally and internationally prominent personalities to give presentations concerning Japan. In addition, refereed papers are presented by qualified JSA members in multiple sessions.
Papers presented at the conference regularly appear in the Japan Studies Assocation Journal.
