JSA Events
JSA events are available to all members of JSA and serve as one of the primary means of networking between experts in the Japan studies. Events serve as encouragement to both deepen current understanding of Japan and introduce members to new areas of study.

Conferences
JSA conferences are a key way JSA members keep in touch with the latest developments in Japan studies through interacting with their peers. They offer a great opportunity for networking, expanding and deepening one's knowledge of his or her chosen field of study, and discovering new, interesting areas of Japanese study.

Field Studies
In order to provide an opportunity for JSA members who have studied Japan through reading and demonstrations, JSA offers several opportunities to do field research in the real Japan. Participants in these trips have the opportunity to deepen their knowledge and develop their own understanding of Japan through a daily living experience and a study tour conducted in Japan itself.
