Members
JSA members consist mainly of those who are interested in Japan studies and share the same objectives as JSA, including graduates of the JSA Summer Institute, educators at both two-year and four-year colleges and universities, and graduate students. Members are required to pay annual dues of $25.00.
Officers
Officers are nominated by the JSA Nominating Committee from the members of JSA. They are bi-annually elected via mail-in ballots by all current JSA members. Click the link above to view JSA's current officers.
Member Benefits
Members of JSA receive the following benefits:
- Receive a copy of the annual JSA Journal.
- Are able to participate and attribute to JSA events.
- Are able to attend annual meetings held in Honolulu, Hawaii alternate years. See JSA events for more information.
- Are eligible to borrow videos from the JSA Library for classroom use.
Newsletter
The JSA Newsletter is open to all those with an interest in keeping track of JSA events. JSA members are automatically added to it upon registration. Subscription to the newsletter can be canceled at anytime. To subscribe or unsubscribe to the JSA Newsletter follow the link above.
