    Max file size: 20MB

    Part C: Curriculum Vitae

Please attach a brief CV (2-4 pages).
    Max file size: 20MB
Please attach a Word or PDF file only.

    Part D: Letter of Recommendation

Each application must include a letter of recommendation from the Applicant's Dean or higher academic official indicating Applicant's qualifications and how the School will support the incorporation of Japan Studies into the undergraduate curriculum. This letter of recommendation should be sent by email to Dr. Maggie Ivanova: maggie.ivanova@flinders.edu.au .

    Part E: Program Fee

Workshop participants will be responsible for their return airfare to Naha, Okinawa, for their transportation to and from Naha airport and some meals. In addition, they will pay a registration fee, currently estimated at $850. This includes double-occupancy accommodation, local transportation, speakers, and museum entry fees. Single occupancy is $300 extra.

We are offering several travel awards ranging between $700 and $1000. We encourage earlier applications to facilitate travel plans and to help JSA trip leaders make final arrangements for lodging in Okinawa. Earlier applicants will receive preference for a travel award, so there is some advantage to applying in early March.

A non-refundable $100 deposit will be due within 10 days of acceptance, with the balance due on April 24, 2017.

Payment instructions will be sent to the participants with successful applications.

The complete application, including your CV and letter of recommendation, must be submitted electronically no later than March 31, 2017.
