Part D: Letter of Recommendation
Each application must include a letter of recommendation from the Applicant's Dean or higher academic official indicating Applicant's qualifications and how the school will support the incorporation of Japan Studies into the undergraduate curriculum. This
letter of recommendation
should be uploaded directly via the Hokkaido 2024 Workshop portal.
Part E: Registration Fee
Workshop participants will be responsible for their airfare to and from Hokkaido, for their transportation to and from New Chitose Airport (CTS) and to Hakodate Airport (HKD), and for most meals. In addition, they will pay a
registration fee, currently estimated at $1,800.
Payment instructions will be sent to the participants with successful applications.
