    Japan's Cultural Pivots Workshop
    Community College of Philadelphia and
    ​University of Pennsylvania's Center for East Asian Studies


    Pre-Workshop: June 12-14, 2019
    Main Workshop: June 18-22, 2019


    ​The complete application for the Main Workshop, including your CV, must be submitted electronically no later than April 25, 2019. Please use the form below.

    Part B: Essay

    In an essay not exceeding 300 words,
    1) explain why you wish to participate in the "Japan's Cultural Pivots" Workshop; and
    2) outline how might use the Workshop content in your courses.

    Please attach a brief CV (2-4 pages), listing the names and contact information of two references.

    Part E: Program Fee

    Workshop participants will be responsible for their travel expenses, accommodation costs, and some meals. In addition, they will pay a $100 registration fee.

    The complete application, including your CV, must be submitted electronically no later than April 25, 2018. Acceptance notifications for the Main Workshop will be sent by April 27. Accepted participants must pay the $100 registration fee by April 30, 2019. Acceptance notifications for the Pre-Workshop only will be sent on a rolling basis.
