DUE DATE FOR APPLICATIONS AND REFERENCE LETTERS: MARCH 17, 2015.
Complete the following application and send it as an e-mail attachment to Dr. Fay Beauchamp, JSA Vice President for Special Projects ([email protected]), and Dr. Jim Peoples, JSA Secretary ([email protected]). Please include your Application Form, Statement, and 2-4 page CV into a single document and submit in one email.
- Registration Fee: $600.
- Schedule: arrive in Hiroshima June 28; workshop in Hiroshima June 29-July 1; travel to Nagasaki July 2; workshop in Nagasaki July 3-5, 2015.
- Participants are responsible for international airfare, hotel costs, and most meals.
- Four $650 stipends are available thanks to support from the University of Kansas Center for East Asian Studies; preference will be given to community college faculty.
- All participants will be notified of acceptance and/or selection for a travel stipend by May 1, 2015.
- JSA has applied for additional funding to provide greater support through a selection process based on this application. In April 2015 we will provide information regarding these opportunities.
